| Installation |
Mount on to an ceilings of locations that have potential sources of fire. In single story homes with one sleeping area, the smoke detector should be installed in the hallway. It may be necessary to install more than one smoke detector if the hallway is more than 15 metres long and particularly, if it is a multistorey home. To ensure the siren can be heard in bedrooms, the smoke detector should be installed within 3 metres of the bedroom door. |
