My camera won't connect to Wi-Fi

Resolve common causes when a Time2 camera fails to connect to Wi-Fi.

Applies to

All current Time2 Wi-Fi cameras

Before you start

  • Confirm your phone is on the same 2.4 GHz network you want the camera to use.
  • Have your Wi-Fi password ready (it is case sensitive).

Steps

  1. 1Confirm your router is broadcasting a 2.4 GHz network — most Time2 cameras require 2.4 GHz.
  2. 2Move the camera closer to the router during setup.
  3. 3Double-check your Wi-Fi password — it is case sensitive.
  4. 4Put the device into pairing mode using its Quick Start Guide and try again.
  5. 5If it still fails, reset the device using its product-specific reset instructions and repeat setup.
What should happen

The camera completes pairing and appears in Clan At Home.

Still not working?
