Wireless Night Vision Security Cameras

Night vision security cameras help identify potential thieves if a break in attempt happens at night when they are most common.

Night Vision Security Cameras

Unfortunately, most intrusions on property and break-ins occur at night-time. This is because criminals like to be as discreet as possible, and the darkness helps them achieve this… Well, so they think! With a high-quality night vision security camera, that Time2 proudly offer, you can use the live feed to spot activity at night-time, just as clearly as you would in the daytime!

Giving you peace of mind

Our night vision cameras give you instant around the clock access to your feed, whether this is in broad daylight or the dead of night. Hear something suspicious from your bedroom while you’re reading? Log straight on to the Clan At Home App and you can quickly see any activity in the very best camera quality. The built-in speaker and microphone on our cameras allow you to hear what is going on and even speak to the intruder. So, if you want to give a thief a few choice words to leave your property immediately, you are able to do so!

You may want all of your security cameras to be night vision compatible, so you can see just as much during the night as you can during the day. This could be especially useful for catching thieves that manage to gain entry into your home. However, we find that many opt for night vision cameras for the outside of their property, so they can spot if anyone is testing their car door, or they can assist with a neighbour if anyone suspicious has been roaming the streets.

How do night vision security cameras work?

Wireless night vision cameras use infrared lighting to detect activity, so you can see the activity of humans/animals based on their temperature, which will clearly show on the live feed. This allows you to detect any intrusion during the darkest hours, when criminals think they are much harder to spot.

This infrared footage is achieved through a series of small LED bulbs around the camera lens. An infrared cut filter is also present, which helps detect natural daylight and blocks out any light falling on the image sensor during daylight hours. This is done to keep the colour in the daytime looking true.

This filter gets removed at night time, and the LED lights turn on so the camera can capture high resolution, clear images which can make all the difference when catching a thief.

How do I choose the best night vision security camera?

At Time2, we can assure you that all of our products are of the highest quality, meaning that you will not have to compare the level of audio or visual that our cameras can reach. Instead, you may want to look at cosmetic features such as the size and colour of your camera, compared to its surroundings.

Some homeowners want their cameras to stand out as much as possible, so thieves know of their presence in the night and can be put off by this. On the flip side, some people want their cameras hidden away, to perfectly catch the thief in the act and bring them to justice if a break in takes place.
